A family friend is having computer troubles. The patient is a Asus U52F. This is a bunch of garbage of a laptop. I have fixed this thing plenty of times and it keeps freaking out. I know it’s not the user’s fault but the hardware. With Windows the hardware fights each other for a K.O. With Linux is runs well to a degree then freaks out with kernel errors and such. From what I can see the hardware is trying to share the same IRQ settings and sadly it can’t be changed. From searching around Google all I can find are typical driver errors so this laptop is probably bad from the get go.
